MISSION


Our mission is to combat poverty related challenges for families in Philadelphia, PA through
youth centered mentoring programs, outreach, and services.
 

HISTORY


L.U.C.K.Y. programming and outreach began in 2012 at Waterview Recreation Center in Germantown where Lonnie Cohen was recreation leader. The program mentored young ladies ages 12-16  and hosted community events led by LUCKY girls.

Building on our foundation, we now provide monthly and weekly youth mentoring opportunities, educational workshops, essential resources distribution and outreach services.  We have grown to include service sites in North Philadelphia, Kensington, and East Falls as well as Germantown where it all began.
